I spent most of my life in the world of athletics.

I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and pitched my way to 4 straight state championships in high school.

I went to college at Arizona State, and we went to the Women’s College World Series in 1999 and 2002. I was also honored to be named to the WCWS All-Tournament Team as a pitcher that year.

After graduating in 2003, I began playing professionally in the Netherlands with the Sparks Haarlem. We won the 2003 European Cup championship, and I was named the Most Outstanding Pitcher.

What made me almost more proud was that same year, while an assistant coach, I helped lead two high school softball programs to state tournaments.

The next year, both high schools went back to the state championship, and I was named an All Star while playing for the Arizona Heat.

From 2006-2008, while playing with the New England Riptide, you might have seen me if you were watching the NPF Championships.

Also in 2006, I joined the coaching staff at Ohio State. While working with the Buckeyes, the pitchers and catchers I coached earned 3 All-America selections, 7 All-Region honors and 1 Big Ten Freshman of the Year.

I then spent 7 years as the head softball coach for the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. I’m proud to say we lead the NCAA in home runs per game and made major improvements to the program.

While there are lots of resources for players, there’s very few resources for coaches looking to get better.
